Renly Homes

Run your estate from one app

Collect dues, control the gate, handle repairs and bring neighbours together. Built for Lagos estates, and it keeps working when the network does not.

What it does

Everything an estate manager chases, in one place

Dues that settle themselves

Levy every unit at once. Residents pay with Paystack, and each payment clears the oldest charge first. Arrears become one clear number per unit.

A gate that works offline

Residents issue QR passes. Guards check them on a cheap Android tablet, with or without a signal, and every entry has a name on it.

Repairs with a queue

Residents report with photos. Your team works one list from Open to Done, and the resident sees every step.

Neighbours who can talk

Official notices first, then a community board, private messages between neighbours, and groups anyone can start.

Help in one gesture

Hold the SOS button for a second to alert every guard. Let go to cancel. No dialog to read in a panic.

Apps for residents

Residents use the iPhone and Android apps. Managers run the estate from the web, on any laptop.

How payments work

From levy to cleared debt in three steps

  1. 1

    Levy every unit

Set a charge once. Every unit in scope is billed, and every resident is told.

  2. 2

    Residents pay by card

Paystack takes the payment. No cash, no screenshots of transfers to check.

  3. 3

    The oldest debt clears first

Each payment settles the oldest charge, so every unit owes one number anyone can explain.

At the gate

A guard's screen that says one thing

The gatehouse is dark on purpose, easy to read at night and at arm's length. One scan, one verdict in big type. Decisions are saved on the tablet and synced later.

  • Let in, Do not let in, or Call the host
  • Type the six-digit code when a phone screen is cracked
  • Every entry carries the guard's name

Community

An estate is a neighbourhood. Treat it like one

Management posts official notices that always come first. Residents share on the community board, message each other privately without swapping phone numbers, and start groups for a block, the school run or Sunday football.

People

Your staff, rostered and paid on time

Guards, cleaners, gardeners and maintenance in one place. Plan the week's shifts, see who clocked in at the gate tablet, and run payroll from what actually happened.

  • Rosters that flag every unfilled post before the night starts
  • Attendance from gate tablet and staff app clock-ins
  • Payroll that takes off unexcused absences, adds overtime and pension, and pays by bank transfer

Questions managers ask

Does the gate need internet?

No. Guards check passes on the tablet. Decisions are saved and synced when the connection comes back.

How do residents pay?

In the app or on the web, through Paystack. They pay on Paystack's secure page and come straight back to Renly Homes.

Can residents message each other?

Yes. Neighbours can message each other privately, without sharing phone numbers, and start open or invite-only groups for a block, a hobby or a cause.

Which phones does it work on?

Residents and staff use iPhone or Android. The gatehouse runs on an inexpensive Android tablet.

Can we pay our guards and cleaners with it?

Yes. Renly Homes builds payroll from the roster and attendance, takes off unexcused absences, adds overtime and pension, and pays each person by bank transfer. Set up PAYE tax with your accountant first.

How long does it take to start?

Most estates go live in a week. We import your units and residents, enrol your gate tablets, and train your guards on site.
